I was watching
Lisa Hannigan sing, and watching her was like watching someone who was so completely herself that she seemed to glow.
To be totally in sync with your mind and your heart is a rare moment. As for being a substitute teacher, I was one before becoming a full-fledged one.
ReplyDeleteOne day I took over a woman's English class in a very rough school. On a yellow legal pad, she had written a one word lesson plan : SURVIVE. It was an ... interesting day as in the Chinese curse brand of interesting.

What a lovely post. I think the artists who touch us most have this quality of sincerity that makes you feel like you're watching them alone in their room, not caring about whether anyone can see. They seem private and unshakable.
